Econo Lodge Grand Forks near University

The location.

No hot water and was cold all the time.

Price was good, hotel was ok for this chain.

Staff were indifferent, area has gone downhill ver the years. Hotel is just ok.

Easy location. Run down area though.

Hotels in area are abandoned. Room had an off odour from years past smokers. It was clean though. Staff had no hospitality training and were just present. The front office is overcrowded with old signage and the whole place needs carpets.

Very clean, excellent personnel, great breakfast and an excellent value. Next time we're in Grand Forks will stay at this Econolodge.

Management and staff were wonderful. Extended stay, they checked on me every day.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet and relaxing place.

Too far away from most of GF and not easy to walk to places close by

Our experience at this Econo Lodge was excellent ! Free breakfast included. In the evening we eat at a nice bar-restaurant right next door.

Nice friendly staff. Good price.

Dated décor. Room smelled a little musty.

Inexpensive room, but pretty clean and well kept.

The room smelled stuffy even with the air running.

The hotel has been recently remodeled, new carpets and paint.

I asked for 2 double beds , not a single queen. The owner would not accommodate me at all, even with the hotel near empty. I asked for a refund and he said NO ! I ended up paying more for 2 beds and felt like I was paying a ransom or would get nothing !

The price was great & the room was clean & comfy. Free breakfast was good, not a lot of variety but when it's free you can't complain. It was great having a fridge & microwave in the room, AC worked great.

The bathroom was very small, no coffee maker in room.

I had hoped that we could get a room with two double beds but was told that we could only get a room with King bed. It would be nice if they have the flexibility for family with small children.

Price was good

The person at the desk told me that only 1 of the 2 rooms booked had 2 beds. When I said we needed 2 beds in each room he said it was not booked that way and it would be $10 more. I checked the reserv and we did not choose beds. They refunded the $10.

The room was actually very nice.

Yes. The $180.00 deposit they put on my card. They said it would be taken off the next day. It wasn't. I was then informed it would take 3 days. Very shady.

Clean room, comfy bed

Nothing much

The lame food they gave you in the morning

Quiet

Bed in poor condition. Noisy box spring
